La Nina is making a comeback, the Viaduct is getting torn down, and, as Forrest Gump said, "Sh*t happens"... How does social media play a part in emergency response and preparedness? We enlisted the experts to find out.
Join us from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8 for an evening with speakers representing the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), American Red Cross Rainier Chapter, Pierce County Emergency Management and Washington State Patrol District 1 at Harmon Eatery and Brewery.
Admission to this event is free. Our friends from Take Winter By Storm will be on hand to answer your questions about winter preparedness, and drink specials will be available for purchase.
Of course, we'll allow plenty of time for networking and meeting colleagues who also work and/or enjoy participating in social media.
